Well, it is Sunday and that means another Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  YAY!!  There are again some fab-o cupcakes Rachel has chosen as our inspiration.  But first, my interpretation...

This is the first time I've ever colored a turkey, well at least in my adulthood!  It was fun and this one is soooo cute!!!  Now... here's the inspiration photo...

Aren't they something??  I'm just always amazed by these folks' talents.  These are sooo cute, those pumpkins and leaves are great, and that frosting just look so yummy!!  I went the fall colors for my card.  Probably shouldn't have gone with so much red, but I like red!!  : )

This great image is from Robyn's Fetish and it's called Tom Turkey.  Robyn's Fetish is our sponsor this week and kindly let the DT select from some of there digi images and digi paper.  They really have some really great images/paper in their shop so please head over and look them over.  For the random winner this week... 5 digital products.  That could be 5 images or 4 images and one digi paper.  It's quite a deal.  Well worth coloring up a turkey!  : )

A Lifetime Together

Good Thursday folks.  Let me first say... THANK YOU to all the men and women that have risked or given their lives to keep our country free.  Your sacrifices are truly appreciated!!  Have a HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!!!

Now for stamping.  My son got married on October 16 and I've still not gotten that card posted... until today.  I looked high an low for the best stamp for this occasion.  Then I found this wonderful Lili of the Valley stamp called Wedding Couple.

I actually saw this image on Dena's Stamping Corner blog.  I took a LOT of inspiration from her wonderful creation, then added some of my favorite embellies and touches.  Thank you for the nudge in the right direction Dena!  Your work is always so wonderful!!

Ryan and Lindsay's wedding colors were eggplant and limey green.  It was really so beautiful!!  I tried to give this little gal's roses an 'eggplanty' look, but I believe I fell a bit shy of that goal.  Oh well... it's still in the same purple family, right?  hahaha!

Their wedding was such a wonderful success.  It went off without a hitch and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.  The following morning, the bride and groom had immediate family over for brunch and to share with them as they opened their remaining gifts.  That was a really special way to end the weekend.  I gave them this card when everyone else had left.  They really seemed to like it!!  : )  It was definitely made with love!!

Challenges:
Bizzy Becs - cute and sweet
CCEE Stampers - use store bought flowers
Cute Card Thursday - anything goes

Anything Goes - emboss it (see One Stop Craft Challenge)
For Fun - dry embossing (see One Stop Craft Challenge)
Crafts and Me - glitter

I guess that's it for this post.  Hope you've enjoyed your visit enough to come see me again sometime.  Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!!

A Very Sweet Christmas Pair

Hello folks.  How's it goin' for you today?  Pretty good on my end.  Yesterday wasn't all that hunky dorrie so it was good to come home and do some coloring and designing.  I'm getting into the Christmas mood.  Well... the Christmas card mood.  OK, I know... stop 'talking' and start showing.  Will do!  Here's the pair I think is so sweet...

This is Stampavie's adorable image called Bear and Robin.  I'd seen this soooo much last year and finally purchased it at the very end of the season.  I didn't get to use it last year, but finally... I worked it up.  Sooo FUN!!  The funny thing is, I was working on the bear last night and was so frustrated as nothing was looking like I wanted it to.  Instead of getting more and more unhappy, I put it down for the night and would try again the next day (today).  Well, lo and behold!!!  It looked pretty darned good to me!  I really need to keep that in mind.  It may not be as bad as I think.  Waslk away and come back to it later.  Does this happen to any of you too???

This was the first time I've used my BG jovial paper pad.  I decided to go the red and black route as I just love plaids, especially these red and black plaids.  Doesn't it just look like a great pair of flannel jammies??  I really ended up liking this card except it still feels like it's missing something.  I don't know what so I'm not touchin' it!!

I used MS snowflake punches, then glittered them up and added a red button to each.  Now those little snowflakes around the sentiment are just some little dimensional stickers.  They came as white flakes with blue centers.  I used my copic marker (R27) to change them to red.  I'd heard about doing this, but had never tried it myself.  I've got to say this is sooooo kewl!!!  Makes me happy!!  I paper pieced teddy's little muffler.  Oh and I didn't do so well keeping the VersaMagic chalk ink of my little birdie.  She's a mess in these pictures, but please know I have now gone over all stamped lines with a Zig black pen.  Looks much better !  : )

I was able to work this card into several challenges for this week so better get started on that list!

Challenges:
Sketch Saturday - the SKETCH
Little Red Wagon - use the color red

Happy Birthday!

To no one in particular right now.  I just made up this card and thought I'd share it with you today.  I worked this up about a month ago, but just never got around to posting it.  I notice there are several birthday challenges this go round so thought it was a good time to post it.

This is another Tiddly Inks digital image.  Man... that's two in a row!!  Told ya I loved the Tiddly Inks store!!  : )  It's funny because the first time I printed off this image, I thought she was too small.  Then I printed of this one and found she was pretty darn big.  But I wanted to use her anyway... just not much creativity on the layout!!

Tiddly Inks has a line of these Lilly Bean images and they're all really fun.  This one worked up really quick, add some glitter, a few buttons and ribbon and you're good to go.

Challenges:
Party Time Tuesdays - anything goes birthday
7 Kids College Fund - birthdays
Lexi's Creations - birthdays
2 Sisters Challenge - birthday
Gingerloft - use buttons

A quick post today, but still so glad you came on by and hope you'll come back soon!

Feeling so sassy!

Happy Sunday friends.  I certainly do hope yours is going well.  I'm running late today for posting the latest and greatest Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  Just wait until you see this week's inspiration photo.  I think you'll LOVE it!  But first, my interpretation...

It's Alice and she's from Tiddly Inks, our sponsor this week.  I am just crazy for Tiddly Inks images and have quite a few.  Tiddly Inks kindly provided a couple different images to the DT to help us with our challenge this week.  Suh-weet!!! And pssst... the winner of this week's challenge will receive a $10 gift voucher!!  Now that'll put a smile on your face!  Oh... and now for the inspiration...

Ain't those GREAT????  Man, that's a LOT of work!  From hats, to tea sets, to cheshire cats and more... they're just so darn cute.  Great find Rachel!!  The blue color really jumped out at me so that's exactly what I went with.  I'm not sure I did those cupcakes justice, but I had fun!

Once again I've chosen to keep the layout and embellies really simple.  I got this layout from Card Positioning Systems.  It was just what I was looking for.  The sentiment I went with a rub-on.  Sooooo easy!  : )

Other challenges:
CPS - the SKETCH
Corrisive Challenge - black and blue
Anything Goes - the letter B (for blue)
My Time to Craft - quick and cute
Creative Card Crew - let's punch it
Crafty Creations - fables and fairy tales
Stamp Insantiy - punch drunk
Sweet Stampin Challenge - inspiration photo
Aly's Sunday Sketch - all about music - song (Her Name is Alice from the latest Alice in Wonderland movie).

I guess that's about it today.  Again... have a wonderful Sunday and we'll see you soon.  : )
