It's Whimsie Doodles Blog Hop Time

Good morning my friends.  It's time for the current DT member's final blog hop for Whimsie Doodles!  Fun and sad all rolled together.  The newest members of the Whimsie Doodles design team start work tomorrow, but before they could let us go, we had to have just one last blog hop!  You should be hopping around gathering the letters from each of the 11 blogs below:
Denise (you're here)

Once you gather all of your letters, and rearrange them correctly, you'll have a discount code for 50% off of this adorable Sentiments-Edibles set in the Whimsie Doodles store.

Aren't these adorable!?!?!?!  And would make a quick, really cute card!  Afraid I didn't get a chance to use them for this hop, but will be sometime soon.  For my card I've used 'Hang in There'.  This little bear peeking over the mushroom top is just great.  heeheehee!

Now... my letter for this hop is "I".  Grab it and continue on to Paula's blog to see her great creation.  Have fun dear visitors.  And THANK YOU Whimsie Doodles for making my DT time with you so wonderful!!!  Good luck to the new gals!  You'll have a blast!

A pretty sick bug...

or... a sick bug that's pretty... or... ????

Good morning my friends.  I've not gotten to do a lot of crafting lately, but still trying to create something new every now and then.  Today I'm sharing a fun image from Whimsie Doodles.  They have the most fun images!!  Great to color!  And speaking of color... how's this for lots of it???  heeheehee!  WOW!!

See... told ya!!!  : )  Lotsa color!  But I like color.  And this is an image just beggin' for lots of it.  I was quite happy to oblige.

My tenure as a Whimsie Doodles DT Diva will soon be coming to an end.  I'm really sad about that but also look forward to new faces and projects from the new DT showing off all the wonderful Whimsie Doodles images.  Good luck gals.  Hope you have as much fun as I have these last six months!!  Enjoy... WD is a great company to work with.

That's about all I have for today.  I'll have a few more WD cards to share before my term is over next week.  And of course, after that also (when I'm a civilian again!).  Please drop by when you can.  It just makes my day!!!  Thanks ALWAYS for leaving your kind comments.  I LOVE 'em!

Lovely little ladybug

Lovely little ladybug,
Sent from heaven above
Please watch over my garden,
And fill it up with love.

Doesn't that look like what this little gal is saying to the ladybug on her foot?  I don't know where this verse came from but I found it on the web a while back.  : )  I like it soooo much better than that weird one about the little ladybug's house being on fire and children all gone!!  I never got that one... yuck!!

Anyhoo... this is my last card made from the images I got from the Whimsie Doodles June release a couple of weeks ago.  This is "Sitting Dottie" and I think she's just the cutest thing!!  I again used this ladybug/flower DP from Creative Imaginations as I just LOVE it!!

The sketch I used is from CardPatterns sketch #65.  I'm too late to enter into the challenge, but wanted to give them their due credit.  Thanks for the great sketch gals!!

Other challenges:
Pals Paper Arts - summer theme

Gotta run today folks.  Hope you enjoyed your visit today.  Sure enjoyed you stopping by.  Come back soon, 'K?

Peachy Keen

Good Monday morning all!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Mine was very laid back and calm.  Nice.  I really need those!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the Just Magnolia challenge - a sketch.  Now... I got as close as I could with the size of my image!

This is Peachy Tilda.  I had great fun coloring her up!!  She's soooo adorable.  I'd seen cards made with her by many talented folks and decided I had to have her.  So voila!  The result of my efforts.  I've had that green lace for ages and just couldn't find the right card/design to use it on.  I believe this one was perfect for it!  : )

I stickled up my flowers  from Wild Orchid Crafts.  It just gives a little extra glitz!  I found the little peachy roses in my stash.  However, it looks like maybe a pink one snuck in there somehow!!  I've just got to get better lighting in my craft area!!!  : )  For the first time in quite a while I worked with my copic markers and finished off with prismacolor pencils.  I haven't done that very often, but it sure does work well.

Thanks for stopping by kiddos.  Hope to see you again very soon!!!

Whimsie Doodles - another June release card

Hi friends.  Ya know... I've darned near forgotten to post the other cards I'd made up from the Whimsie Doodles June release!!  I guess I've just got too much going on... huh!?!  : )  Anyhoo... here we go...

This image is called Missy's Therapy.  I think shopping is therapeutic for many of us.  Especially if it's stamping supplies shopping!!!!  : )  I know that's true for me!  Just getting a new stamp or two, a new pad of paper, or maybe some pearls or roses.  Makes me happy the entire day.  How about you????

I just loved that the Whimsie Doodles creator, Melyssa, had used a star in Missy's hair.  I'd gotten this paper a while back thinking there would be lots of things I could use it for.  Well... there hasn't been, until now.  I thought it worked wonderfully!  I cut an extra star out to use for her hair embellie.  Isn't she just so cute and ready to take on the world???  That sentiment is actually a rub-on from Paper Studio.  Those rub-ons sure do come in handy some times.

That's it for today.  I'll be back soon to post my last June release card.  See you then.  Have a great Sunday!!!

Whimsie Wednesday Challenge on PCP

Good morning all!  So glad to see you.  Today it's another Whimsie Wednesday Challenge at PCP.  I'm the hostess this week and have chosen the theme... Incredible EdiblesWhimsie Doodles has plenty of food images to make this challenge just that much easier.  I sure hope you'll pop over there and join in on the fun.

Here's the card I created for this challenge.  I used the 'How Sweet' rubber set.  Of course I used my new graphic 45 DP that have the cherries on it!  I just love graphic 45!!  So unique.  I also just had to add a couple of cherry blossoms!  I didn't think this card needed much embellishing, but the cherry blossoms were a necessity!!  : )

Again, I hope you'll join in on our challenge this week.  I can't wait to see what you've created!!!  Have a GREAT day!!
