Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #78

Good morning stampers!!  At least it's morning for a little while more.  I hope your weekend has been going great and you enjoy your Sunday.  We have another Cupcake Inspirations challenge today and it's sooo cute!!  Here's what I came up with.

This is Cuddles, an adorable digital image from Pink Cat Studios who just happens to be our sponsor this week.  They very kindly shared some owlie images we could choose from for this week's challenge!  Perfect, right???  Oh... you haven't seen the inspiration photo yet, have you?  Here ya go... isn't it fab-o??

Isn't that great??  I thought those little owls were so sweet and whimsical! And PCS's owl images were so fun to work with!!  The random winner of this week's challenge will win 5 images of their choice!  Doesn't that sound fun?!?

As so often happens, I didn't have any solid cardstock that really worked with this DP.  So, I colored the edges of my white cardstock with copics matching the peachy colors I'd used on Cuddles.  Always makes a perfect match!!

Other challenges:
Chrisma Cardz - anything goes
Crafty Calendar Challenge - blue and flowers

If you want to see some other wonderful creations, please head on to the other DT team's blogs.  They always have inspiration galore!!  Thanks for stopping by today.

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #77

Welcome friends.  Happy Sunday to you all.  It's Sunday so what's that mean?  Another Cupcake Inspiration Challenge!!  YEAH!!!  This week, the photo inspiration and my imagination took me here...

This is my little back-to-school gal.  No sentiment yet, but I'll come up with one that's just right.  And what, you ask, is the photo inspiration this week?

Aren't these delish looking??  I'm very impressed with whoever made all those apples!!  Well... I couldn't come up with much apple stuff, but I did have these charmed enamels from Making Memories.  I thought they fit in pretty well.

This sweet image is from Some Odd Girl.  Isn't she adorable??  To me she looks like a little kindergartener ready for her first day of school.  I remember those moments.  : ) and gulp.  Sometimes good memories make your eyes well up!  Silly, I know.

Oh... back to Some Odd Girl.  They are our sponsor this week and will offer a random winner their option of three (3) digi images!!  But that's not all... during this week's challenge, Some Odd Girl will be offering a 30% discount to all Cupcake Inspiration followers.  So go... look around their shop and buy some super cute digis at a great discount.

Other Challenges:
Taylored Expressions - the sketch
Kaboodle Doodles - photo inspiration
The Pink Elephant - back to school
Going Grey - gotta go digi
The Secret Crafter - anything goes

Well... I think that's it for this week.  Thanks soooo much for poppin' in.  I love it when you do that!!!  : )

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #76

Good morning stamping friends!  Man... I've had a heck of a time this morning!!  First my computer connection just was not working.  Then when finally it did start working, my blog looks all goofy!  What I see is my latest picture, a few labels and then outlines boxes all over that says 'this image or video has been moved or deleted'.  Then it shows Photobucket as the culprit.  I hope what you see is more normal!  : )

Anyhoo... here's my DT card for our latest photo inspiration challenge...

Isn't this little gal so aDORable???  I just love her!!  This is another beauty from Lili of the ValleyAll their images are just wonderful.  Now here's the photo inspiration...

That's some kind of fancy cupcakes!!!  There's just tons of inspiration here, but I went with the big white hat with the mauve bow with roses on top.  OK... my roses aren't on top, but there are roses!  : )  And I'm not sure but that my mauve isn't more pretty pink that mauvey, but that's OK too.

I was wondering how I could replicate those filigree cupcake holders, but a border punch and kinda filigree-looking DP is the best I could come up with.  By the way, the pink border on top of the image is actually the bottom of the daisy border punch I used.  That's usually thrown right in the trash, so I did a little salvaging this week!  I also used a little yellow as that's what the cake peeking out from under the swirly frosting looks like to me.

Other challenges:
Really Reasonable Ribbon - flowers
Craft Your Days Away - girly and glitter

Soooooo... I'm getting a late start preparing to head out to my mom's this morning.  Late, late, late all the way around.  Don't you just hate mornings like that??  So I'd better say good-bye for now.  Sorry this post is so late.  Have a wonderful day and come back to see me real soon, 'K?

Tiddly Inks Challenge

Good morning friends!!  Just a quick little post this morning as I have to get back to work.  This card was created for the Tiddly Inks DT call asking us to make a card with the theme of 'end of summer'.  There's nothing that signifies that like heading back to school is there?

Isn't this just great???  I love how TI gave us a wonderful image, but also a great background to go with her!!  I used the bg as a second image, but I've seen it done other cute ways too.  I tried going for the black leather jacket look, but am disappointed.  There's just too much black representing her hair in back and the edge of her backpack to really make this work very well.  The jacket just kinda gets lost.  But I just LOVE this image.  : )  I'm going to throw this in my granddaughter's backpack and she'll find it some day at school and be tickled.

Challenges:
Tiddly Inks Challenge - end of summer (I missed it)
Creative Card Crew - back to school
The Pink Elephant - back to school

Gotta run.  Thanks for stopping by!!
