My First Post!!

WELCOME!!!  Thank you for visiting my very first post!

I have FINALLY gotten around to creating my own blog!!!  I've had such huge blog envy for many months now.  And, truthfully... I still do.  There are some visually wonderful blogs out there.  Right now, mine is not.  But... one day... I'm optimistic!!

To start off, I'd like to share a few of my fave cards from my SCS gallery:

This first card I made for my best friend, Gaylene's birthday.  She is very important to me so I spent a long time on this one.  She is always very appreciative of my efforts so it's worth it to put extra time into cards for her.

Stamp:  PTI In Bloom
Paper:  Basic Grey - Indian Summer (6x6 pad)
            Gina K. pure luxury
Used:  Copics, pearls, stickles

From another PTI set (Autumn Abundance) I just got at the same time, I made this birthday card for another wonderful friend of mine.  I took some extra time on this one also.  Lynn - you know you're very special to me.  Thanks for everything!!

Stamp:  PTI Autumn Abundance
Paper:  My Mind's Eye - Bella Bella
            Gina K. pure luxury
Used:   Copics, BG ribbon, diamond rhinestones

And this one... I just LOVE Mo's Digital Pencil images.  They are ALL just soooooo fun!!!

Image:  Kai
Paper:  Basic Grey - Lemonade and June Bug
            Gina K. pure luxury
Used:   Prismacolor pencils/gamsol, BG buttons, crystal effects (on leaves)

Guess that's it for my first post!!  Next time I'll post something new -- WOOHOO!!

Thanks for coming by and hope you'll come back to visit and see what improvements I make along this journey.  I'd love to hear your comments, be they suggestions, constructive criticism, well wishes or whatever(?)!  : )

THANKS!  Denise

Welcome to Blogville!!!! Have FUN!!!
Awesome cards you shared!

I absolutely love your talent & artistry! You take a lot of pride & each card just tugs at your heartstring. Well, they do at mine anyway! Your pride in each card you lovingly take the time to create shows in your work. No mass produced "store bought" card could ever compare to the ones you share. Thank you for the "warm fuzzies!"

congrats on your brand new blog-it's exciting I know. I just started mine about 3 weeks ago. your work is beautiful-looking forward to seeing more
